Visitors and tourists alike are very welcome in Berrigan Shire where they are often surprised at the many different aspects of the region.

Located in southern NSW, nearly 700km south west of Sydney and 350km north west of Melbourne, Berrigan Shire is noted for its relaxed atmosphere, traditional country values and range of historic buildings.

Agriculture is the predominate industry in the region and the community still encompasses the traditional values associated with the country lifestyle.

The Berrigan Shire offers a range of accommodation and activities for the visitor including golf, horse racing, fishing and close access to the Murray River and Lake Mulwala.

The Visitor Information Centre is located in Tocumwal and provides information for visitors about the attractions and services both locally and throughout the region. Open 9am – 5pm daily
