Kerbside Garbage & Recycling Collection
Kendall Foott Waste Pty Ltd is the waste and recycling collection service contractor for the Berrigan Shire Council.
Garbage collection day for all towns in Berrigan Shire Council is TUESDAY.
Recycle collection day for all towns is every second TUESDAY.
Please ensure that your bin is placed out for collection on Monday night and that the bin handles face the house at the kerbside. For more information regarding your kerbside garbage and recycling collection please phone Kendall Foott Waste's freecall number 1800 041 041.
If your garbage or recycle bin has been stolen, lost or is damaged, please phone Kellie at Council's Office on (03) 5888 5100 to arrange a replacement bin.
Recyclable items include:
- Magazines
- Paper and Cardboard (flattened)
- Newspapers
- Containers and Bottles (lids removed)
- Lids can be recycled but must be removed from the bottle
- Steel and aluminium cans

Yours 2 Take
Yours2Take is an environmental initiative of the Riverina Eastern Regional Organisation of Councils that diverts waste from landfill by increasing the reuse and recycling of waste products. The project aims to address climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions that are generated through the operation of municipal landfills.
Yours2Take aims to decrease waste by helping users to reuse and recycle. The website works in two ways:

Give Away Items
If you own something that you don’t need anymore, don’t throw it away, give it away to someone who wants it. Use this website to advertise the item and link with someone else that can put it to use.
Wanted Items
If you want something and are hoping that another user might have that item to give away then you can use the website to advertise for that item and link with someone who has the item and wants to give it away. Before listing a "wanted" advertisement users should check the items to give away listings to ensure the wanted item is not already available.
Yours2Take users can support the environment, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change in a practical way by reusing and recycling waste items. The more items that are exchanged through the site the more the amount of waste that enters municipal landfills is reduced. |
