Owner Builders

An Owner Builder is an individual who does “Owner-Builder” work. This work may involve supervising, construction and/or alteration or additions to a dwelling.  

An Owner Builder accepts the responsibilities and role of the builder and possesses an Owner Builder Permit to do that work. An Owner Builder Permit is required where the value of work exceeds $10,000 and can be applied for at the NSW Fair Trading.
