On Public Exhibition

Berrigan Shire Council regularly places various documents and development applications "On Exhibition" for public comment. All current "On Exhibition" items are located below or can be viewed at Council’s Administration Office – 56 Chanter Street, Berrigan before 5.00pm on the document's closing date.

If you would like to make a submission in relation to an "On Exhibition" document this needs to be done prior to the document's closing date (noted below) and can be done in writing, addressed to the General Manager:

DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL

Council is in receipt of the following Development Application No. 168/20/DA/DM for a 5MW Solar PV Array at Lot 61 Broockmanns Road, Finley NSW 2713

(Lot 61//DP1053533).  The applicant is KDC Pty Ltd.  The consent authority is Berrigan Shire Council.

The Development Application and supporting documentation may be inspected on the Council website.  Written submissions in respect of the Development Application will be accepted by Council until close of business on Friday 26th June 2020.

Note: Persons lodging submissions are required to declare political donations (including donations of more than $1,000) made in the previous two years.  For more details, including a disclosure form, go to www.planning.nsw.gov.au/donations.

Draft Integrated Plans: Public Exhibition and Comment

The Council has adopted for public exhibition for 28-days and comments its:

The Draft Resourcing Strategy 2020 – 2030 identifies the Council’s long-term financial, asset management and human resourcing requirements. The Reviewed Delivery Program 2017 – 2022 has been rolled forward by one year as part of the Council’s COVI19 response.  It sets out the Council’s program of works inclusive of its 4-year capital works program. The Draft Annual Operational Plan 2020 – 2021 includes the Council’s annual budget, fees and charges and a statement of its revenue and rating policies.

Copies of the Draft Resourcing Strategy 2020 – 2030, the Reviewed Delivery Program 2017 – 2022, and the Draft Annual Operational Plan 2020 – 2021 are on Council’s website. Copies are also available from the Council’s office.

Submissions commenting on the above plans must be received by 5:00 pm Thursday 18 June 2020 and will be considered by the Council at an Extraordinary Meeting to be held Wednesday 24 June 2020.
