Council Elections

Berrigan Shire Council will be going ahead with elections on Saturday 10th September as we were not part of a merger process.

The NSW Electoral Commission is required by legislation to conduct the 2016 local council elections and have therefore  launched a dedicated website for the elections. The website address is:

www.votensw.info

The website will be progressively populated with key information about the upcoming elections and will be the main source of information for councils, electors, candidates and registered political parties.

Nominations close August 11, 2016.
