Building a safer and more resilient community is a shared responsibility across everyone living in the Berrigan Council local government area. We work with government, agencies, and our community to minimise the impact of emergencies on residents and visitors.

Further information on shared responsibility can be located in the State Emergency Management Plan (SEMP). Our Municipal Emergency Management Plan complements and supports the SEMP by providing local knowledge and expertise, as well as outlining capacity and responsibilities.
