Update: 24.04.024
Works commenced on 15 April 2024 and with the fine weather has progressed ahead of schedule.
Road asphalt surfacing expected to commence on Monday 29 April 2024 and be completed by Friday 3 May 2024, weather permitting.
To allow completion of the asphalt surfacing in 1 week, works will be undertaken during the hours of 7am and 6pm.
The works will occur on one single lane width, allowing one lane to remain open for traffic at all times. Traffic control will be in place and road users should expect delays.
Oversize vehicles will still be required to follow detour signage that will guide them across the Murray River via Tocumwal.
We are working with the Contractor to finish the works as soon as possible.
We appreciate your cooperation with the above.
