I’m unashamedly a cheerleader for this region; the land, the river, industry, people, history, climate... don't get me started; I could (and probably will) write a book on why I love the Berrigan Shire so much.
In hindsight, the media was the tipping point that made me run for Council. I was consuming all this great material around Women in politics; I had a real lightbulb moment and thought... 'well, stop agreeing with the need for women in politics and do something'.
