Project Overview

The project will deliver significant upgrades to the area's stormwater and road infrastructure, including the installation of new reinforced concrete stormwater pipes, drainage pits, kerb and gutter improvements, full road reconstruction, and associated civil works. Minor pavement reinstatement and road surface restoration will also be completed as part of the works.

The project aims to improve stormwater management, reduce the risk of localised flooding, and provide a safer, more durable road for residents and road users. By upgrading ageing drainage and road infrastructure, the works will also help minimise future maintenance requirements and improve the long-term reliability of Council's infrastructure.

What residents can expect during construction

Council will be conducting these works in a staged approach, to best minimise impact on residents.
However, across the construction period, residents may be impacted through: reduced driveway access, changes to bin collection locations, temporary road closure and temporary water disruptions.

Residents are asked to park their vehicles within property boundaries where possible. Council will communicate potential impacts to residents in a timely manner. For major disruptions, residents will receive letterbox notifications.

Traffic management measures will be in place throughout the works to ensure the safety of residents, motorists, pedestrians, and construction personnel. Please follow all temporary traffic signs and directions provided by traffic controllers.
