Libraries
Fostering a love of reading, supporting lifelong learning and providing a space for people to connect, Berrigan Shire Council libraries play an important role in local communities. All four towns in Berrigan Shire hold libraries; Barooga, Berrigan, Finley and Tocumwal.
In addition to the extensive range of reading material, eResources and DVDs, local libraries offer free computer and wi-fi access, author talks, reading clubs, school holiday programs, storytime sessions for children, community programs and family and local history information – to name just some of the services.

LOCAL LIBRARY USAGE SURVEY
Berrigan Shire Council is inviting library members and residents to complete a survey about the services and programs at our libraries (Finley, Tocumwal, Barooga and Berrigan).
Your survey responses will help us to understand more about how our libraries are being used, as well as the needs and preferences of our community. Feedback from the Library Usage Survey will be used to assist to further develop library services and programs.
The Library Usage Survey is open to all library members and residents. You don’t need to be a library member to take part.
Survey closes Wednesday 11 October 2023.
