Council will be conducting works to reconstruct Barooga Cobram Road, between Peoples Bridge and Bullanginya Bridge from 15th April 2024, and scheduled for completion before the end of May, weather permitting.
Town Beach will be closed for the installation of greywater services from 1st May 2024 for approximately 3 weeks depending on works.
The Barooga Botanical Gardens are delightful, well-established gardens.
Maintained by the local community, it is a great place to spend a few hours enjoying the beautiful layout.
Take a stroll through the gardens and go exploring - a rotunda, sun dial and water feature are just a few things you can enjoy.
Pack a picnic - or use the barbeque facilities; there is plenty of space to gather with family and friends, as children have fun on the playground.
It's a beautiful space for special occasions too such as weddings.
