COUNCIL LODGES SUBMISSION TO THE MURRAY-DARLING BASIN PLAN 2026 REVIEW

At its Extraordinary Council Meeting, held on Wednesday 29 April 2026, Berrigan Shire Council has endorsed to lodge a detailed submission to the Murray–Darling Basin Plan 2026 Review.
The submission calls for a fundamental shift in how water policy is designed and delivered across the southern Basin.

MOMENTS THAT MEAN EVERYTHING CAMPAIGN SET TO LAUNCH SECOND YEAR

Local tourism operators from across the region came together on 20 April for an industry networking workshop ahead of the launch of the second year of the ‘Moments That Mean Everything’ campaign. Delivered by InkSocial, the workshop equipped operators with practical tools to strengthen their digital presence and maximise their participation in the upcoming campaign.
