CEO Recruitment Update

Berrigan Shire Council has resolved to broaden the search for its new Chief Executive Officer and extend the recruitment process over a longer timeframe. This decision reflects Council’s commitment to securing the right candidate to lead the organisation and deliver high-quality services to the community.

To ensure continuity and stability during this extended search period, Council has agreed to extend the contract of the current CEO, Mark Dupé, into the first quarter of 2026. This extension will support ongoing operations and provide consistent leadership for both Council and the community.

Council remains focused on finding a leader who aligns with our values and vision for the future.
