NEW WEBSITE DESIGNED WITH COMMUNITY IN MIND
Visitors to Berrigan Shire Council’s website will see a new modern design in line with Council’s new branding, and notice a faster, easier and more user-friendly online experience.
The new website, launched on Thursday 4 May 2023, is the Council’s self-service digital front door and the central source of information about Council and our services.
Berrigan Shire Council’s Mayor Cr. Matthew Hannan said, “It was imperative to make the new website as user-friendly as possible, so navigating for essential services like paying rates and water notices, finding career opportunities, or checking for latest news can be completed with ease and simplicity. Council have received a lot of community feedback over the years that Council’s website needed an upgrade and refresh, and we are confident that the new site will better meet customer needs.”
Some key features of the new website include:
- Easy-to-navigate drop-down menus
- Latest news section
- Upcoming event calendar
- Increased accessibility for people with vision impairment and other disabilities
- The website will improve customer experience and help us resolve enquiries faster by providing timely and accurate information and advice on demand.
