We’re delighted to welcome Susan Mackie back to the Berrigan Library for a special author talk. Susan is an award-winning writer of rural romance whose Barrington series has captured readers across Australia. Her brand-new release, One Good Man, is the tenth book in the series and continues her tradition of heartfelt storytelling set in rural landscapes.
Susan grew up near Finley, so this visit is also a homecoming of sorts. She’ll be sharing insights into her journey as a writer, the process of bringing her characters to life, and what it’s really like to publish in today’s world. Whether you’re an avid reader, an aspiring writer, or simply enjoy a good story, this is an event not to be missed.
Morning tea will be provided, making it the perfect opportunity to relax, connect with others, and be inspired by one of our region’s own.
