Applications Administrator – Information Technology

Join our dynamic ICT Team

We are seeking an ICT Applications Administrator to support and maintain Council’s corporate and line-of-business applications, ensuring they remain reliable, secure, and aligned to operational needs.

Following the successful implementation of our core enterprise systems, this role will play a key part in administering these platforms while supporting the delivery of new and improved applications as part of our ongoing ICT modernisation program.

This is an excellent opportunity to build strong knowledge of Council operations while working across a diverse application environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Applications Administration – Manage access, configuration, upgrades, integrations, and reporting across corporate and line-of-business applications.

• Service Delivery – Provide timely support and resolution of incidents and requests, ensuring systems meet operational needs.

• Systems Improvement – Assist with the implementation and integration of applications, and support ongoing system enhancements.

• Vendor & SLA Management – Liaise with software vendors and monitor service performance, including SLAs.

• Team Support – Work collaboratively with the ICT team and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and effective technology services.

 

What You’ll Need:

• Exposure to application implementations, integrations, or system improvements.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with Civica Authority or similar local government ERP systems will be highly regarded.

 

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate in Information Technology, or willingness to obtain one.

• Experience working with Corporate and Line of Business applications.

• Australian Drivers Licence and ability to maintain.

This position is a full-time position classified at Grade I, Entry Level under Council’s salary structure with a salary range based on qualifications and experience from $88,609.07 to $99,731.09 per annum plus 12% statutory superannuation. Conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
