Information Technology - Infrastructure Administrator
(2-year fixed term contract)
This exciting role offers the chance to showcase and develop your skills in supporting and managing our business-critical IT Infrastructure and Security. The transformation of our ICT infrastructure and security has commenced and you will be a key part of this program. You will also have a great opportunity to build knowledge of Council processes and modern technologies.
This is a fixed-term appointment for a period of two years, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to local government initiatives and make a meaningful impact within the ICT space.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- IT Infrastructure Administration – Manage access, new initiatives, licensing, support and maintenance in partnership with our Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Customer fulfilment – Manage the timely response and resolution of incidents and requests. Manage SLA’s with MSP and external providers.
- Team Player - Ready to jump in and take on any task? You’ll support our ICT Team to deliver key services to our customers.
What You’ll Need:
- Certificate in Information Technology, or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience in ICT Infrastructure, including Hardware, Networks, End User Devices and Security
- Experience in Cloud Technologies, Modern Workspace and Collaboration technologies
- ITIL Certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and ability to maintain

This is a full-time fixed term 2-year contract classified at Grade H Entry Level under Council’s current salary structure with a salary range based on qualifications and experience from $80,725.01 to $90,856.04, plus 12% statutory superannuation and a 70-hour 9-day fortnight. Conditions are in accordance with Local Government (State) Award 2023.
