Tri State Games 2023

Tri State Games is an annual weeklong sporting event for athletes with a disability living in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. 

The event includes swimming, athletics track and field, indoor sports such as darts and eight ball and team sports such as soccer and lawn bowls. 

After a fantastic turn out last year we expect over 600 people to be in the area from 12 – 17 November 2023.

This inspiring week-long sporting event is designed to provide individuals with disabilities the incredible opportunity to engage in friendly competition, active participation, and positive social interaction through a diverse range of sporting activities.

Residents are encouraged to head along to support and cheer on athletes throughout the week of events!

The games begin with an opening ceremony on Monday 13 November 2023 from 9am that includes a street parade and the raising of the Tri State Games flag. All community members are invited, the parade will start at Federation Park and travel down Punt Road, Cobram between Dillon, and Williams Streets and then onto Mivo Park.

Business owners should prepare for Wednesday 15 November 2023 as the athletes enjoy their rest day, usually heading out to explore the region, potentially making it a busier day.
